The seventh installment of the Home Show, hosted by Tony Cunningham of Millenium Martial Arts has been announced and it’s a big one. None other than North East born Muay Thai world champion, Reece McAllister tops the bill against Andrei Ostrovanu.

North East born Reece, of Pheonix Thai, needs no introduction. He has fought on some of the top shows all around the world including GLORY Kickboxing and YOKKAO, collecting many titles on the way and recently won the Top King World Championship in a 16-man tournament in Hong Kong in July last year.

Now coming back to his routes in the North East of the UK, Reece faces Romanian Andrei Ostrovanu in a 70kg K-1 rules kickboxing bout that is sure to excite the local fans.

The co-main event is another exciting match-up as UK Independant K-1 #2 ranked 60kg fighter Leif Taggart, of Chok Dee Thai Boxing in York – ran by 2x World Muay Thai Champion Rich Cadden – faces Andrei Ostrovanu’s Romanian teammate Rayko ‘The Lion’ Levitchi.

Elsewhere on the card we’ll see three of Millenium Martial Arts‘ own; Kyle Todd, Ross Laidlaw and John Cairns – who all competed at the recent DUEL 6 event at the NE6 Suite in Newcastle – will all compete in front of their home crowd at the Home Show.

Kyle made his pro K-1 debut at DUEL 6 in a convincing unanimous decision win over Richie Bonallie, while Ross Laidlaw showed heart in a hard-fought decision loss against Darius Palma of Northern Spirit.

John returns to K-1 action as he faces Jamie Clarke after a dominant decision victory in a boxing bout at Duel 6. After landing numerous body shots, John eventually dropped his opponent just as the bell rang to signal the end of the contest.

The Home Show will be hosted at the 800-seater Blyth Sports Centre on Saturday 2nd July. If you’re interested in sponsoring this event, where your business name will be announced as a bout sponsor by the ring announcer, a banner will be displayed at the event, an advert is the event program and mentioned on all social media coverage in the build up to the show, contact Tony Cunningham for more details.
