Contender Promotions chief Garry Bell, who has recently been appointed North England Director for the World Kickboxing Association, has added yet another huge bout to the K-1 Rising Star: New Blood card in July that is sure to excite North East fight fans.

Two of regions best fighters will be going head to head in the “Battle of Britain” as MMA & K-1 Champion Harry Hardwick, of Akurei MMA and Middlesbrough Fight Academy, takes on another hometown fighter who needs no introduction, Leif Taggart, training out of the Chok Dee academy in York, for the WKA Pro British Title at 61.5kg.
