Having brought legends such as Melvin Manhoef and Ernesto Hoost to the north east, Garry Bell of Contender Promotions is now asking north east K-1 enthusiasts if they’d like to train with Drago too.
After bringing Melvin Manhoef to the North East back in June, Contender Promotions’ Garry Bell has secured a seminar tour with another K-1 legend, four-time World Heavyweight champion Ernesto “Mr Perfect” Hoost.
North East star Leif Taggart, who fights out of Rich Cadden’s Chokdee gym in York, put his WKA British title on the line against Anthony Ferguson of Renegade gym in Stevenage in a fight-of-the-night contender at SuperFight Series on Sunday evening.
Amir Subasic’s SuperFight Series II: Pure was held at the St. Albans Arena in front of a sold out crowd, featuring a stacked card which included a 4-man tournament, a WKA English title fight, two WKA British title fights and a WKA World Title main event featuring Kev Ward.
